In 1999 two sisters started ‘Bibi Alhaja Bijoux’, a new and different selection of jewellery. Nowadays, Bibi Alhaja Bijoux designer jewellery has developed into an international brand with a comprehensive collection. All items are still handcrafted in their own studio in the Netherlands. Always surprising and trendy, the designs evolve from human hands rather than from a drawing board. The sisters get their inspiration by the smallest things. That could be anything, a lost charm or an antique necklace...creative processes cannot be rushed. Down to the very last moment the items get reshaped and improved. Forever and always with the proud owner in mind. ‘Alhaja’ is Moorish for ‘specially made for you’ and that’s what Bibi Bijoux is all about.
Bibi Bijoux jewellery is manufactured out of the best quality of materials, crystals (and beads) from Swarovski, heavy silver-plated components, semi precious stones and natural materials such as leather, wood, and sea-shell.
