Jackie Brazil was founded by Rezende Sobral over thirty years ago when he saw some Argentineans attempting to craft jewellery out resin. Sobral became instantly intrigued with this unique product and realised very quickly what potential resin could have being transformed into one of a kind, handmade exclusive jewellery. He started to make handmade resin jewellery in 1978 on a small farm in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. A former artisan with a natural ability to experiment with different shapes and colours, his work quickly received attention by the fashion world. Every individual piece of Jackie Brazil jewellery is hand polished which is a very long, labour intensive task. The end result and finish of Sobral’s jewellery clearly demonstrates the quality of his jewellery above others. Each cut block is different. This creates a unique piece in colour, shape, pattern and texture – now two pieces of Jackie Brazil jewelry are ever the same.
