Leandra’s inspiration – "My love of Frida Kahlo’s Art is what led to my discovering Mexico and enjoying their festivals. My favourite festival being the annual Day of The Dead. I like the Mexican attitude of celebrating their lost loved ones by having a picnic at their graves – by making brightly decorated sugar skulls for the children to eat – by making small altars and offering food – by talking about their lost relatives and having fun! … So much more joyous than the British way of death. Within this bracelet I celebrate The Day of The Dead and Frida Kahlo’s Art – always heavily influenced by her birthplace. I hope you love this bracelet as much as I enjoyed creating it for you."
