The MOODS A/W 2012 collection is created for real women out there who know who they are and what they want. The jewellery collection is divided into a number of styles, each with a unique design story to tell. Within the collection you'll find minimalistic, cool, and sexy approaches to this season’s jewellery created with clean lines, organic shapes and great wow factor. Some pieces cover the dramatic, classic and rich looks that will stun your evening look in the most dramatic way possible.

MATERIALS: D/K's use of high quality materials and ingenious craftsmanship is seldom found in fashion jewellery: They use stainless steel for its durable, scratch free and strong qualities. They then add Swarovski crystals generously sprinkled all over the collection: For some styles, they've used little pave set chaton crystals or dramatic fancy cut crystals like baguette and emerald cut. Crystal beads and freshwater pearls are strung into Charleston inspired sautoir necklaces such as the sparkly Farine necklace, below.

COLOURS: For AW12, Dyrberg/Kern have put emphasis on classic white, black, warm gold and cool silver finishes, matching the trends of the season. Other options include rose gold ? a subtle new look which transforms classic jewel styles into mere fashion statements. The dark, almost black gun metal as background adds drama to a season of black clothing. The mix of hematite and grey crystals is magnificent. They use white crystals together with a sophisticated mix of faded grey and golden tones matching your every mood.

  • Pretty Patterned Pieces to add Pizazz to your A/W 2012

One of the hottest jewellery trends for Autumn-Winter this year is patterned jewellery - ?think big, bold chunky pieces embellished with dazzling jewels and intricate beadwork. Quite a few of our favourite designers have taken this concept and run with it this season, creating beautiful one of a kind items which would add a dash of pizazz to any dull Winter outfit.

Tatty Devine Paisley Rose BroochThis Tatty Devine Paisley Rose Brooch?(?66.00)?celebrates pretty paisley patterns. It’s teeming with bright jewel colours, and also features gold ink detailing and a rose with a crystal magenta bud hidden at its heart. It’s a real statement piece, and would be perfect pinned to a thick Winter scarf, or buttoned up shirt.

Fiona Paxton Hana Collar in Gunmetal and Purple

Fiona Paxton’s current collection is another example of beaded jewellery at its most elegant. We adore this Hana Collar in Gunmetal and Purple (?200.00). Made up of mixed chains shot through with bright neon colours, it drapes beautifully over anything you choose to team it with - be it a little black dress or a simple cotton t-shirt.

Mawi Neon Spiked Panther Head and Crystal Pendant in Hematite

We’ve spoken before about our love of Mawi, and their Neon Spiked Panther Head and Crystal Pendant in Hematite (?243.00) is truly gorgeous. It looks like the kind of necklace which would be worn by a warrior queen, and the neon pink and yellow details lend it a modern edginess. This is what you wear when you want to be noticed.

Bibi Bijoux Multicoloured Hand Beaded Bracelet

Winter isn’t exactly a season known for its colours. So why not add a pop of colour to a grey November day by wearing this Bibi Bijoux Multi Coloured Hand Beaded Bracelet (?109.95) around your wrist? Bright and beautiful, it’s a splash of Summer, and puts us in mind of beaches and sunshine.

Ti Sento Sterling Silver Mini Ball Stud Earrings

These Ti Sento Sterling Silver Mini Ball stud earrings (?59.95) remind us of little disco balls. Small, smooth and sublimely shiny, they’re just the thing if you fancy popping a bit of bling in your ears this October.

  • Tatty Devine's AW12 Jewellery Collection

Digital prints land on jewellery, as Tatty Devine pioneer the technique on wood and perspex. Imagine a neglected Bloomsbury mansion, with willow pattern plates straight out of the dining room recreated as digitally printed jewellery. From dark corners come art deco moths, printed directly on to birch. Town and country mice nibble on acorns and cheese, and there are bunches of musty grapes to be found in the overgrown garden. The dressing room delivers crystal-encrusted paisley and nature meets artifice as the classic leopard motif gets the Tatty Devine treatment.

  • A/W 2012 Trend: Pearly Queens

One of the key trends we've been noticing for A/W 2012 are pearls. From huge clumped bracelets to delicate strand necklaces, they all help to create a super cute, super feminine, vintage look. Think twin sets, cashmere cardigans and the kind of accessories that Cher from 'Clueless' might wear on a hot date. Here's five pretty, pearl pieces from our collection which will allow you to embrace your inner pearly queen.

Ti Sento Sterling Silver Small Pearl Hoop Earrings

There is something very elegant about these Ti Sento Sterling Silver Small Pearl Hoop Earrings?(?89.95).?They'd go perfectly with a little black dress and a dab of Chanel no.5. Oh yes, and an attractive young gentleman to carry your purse and fur coat for you.

Ted Baker Five Row Pearl Bracelet

This Ted Baker Five Row Pearl Bracelet?(?45.00) is an accessory which means business. Made up of five rows of shimmering freshwater pearls, as well as a solid silver clasp, it's chunky without being too clunky, and will suit wrists of all shapes and sizes.

L.K. Bennett Twisted Pearl Necklace in Cream

A good pearl necklace will go with anything and everything - from a designer dress to a t-shirt and pair of skinny jeans. ?L.K. Bennett's Twisted Pearl Necklace in Cream (?95.00) is like the brand; very British, and not afraid to make a statement. Throw this on and you'll look like a million pounds - even if you only have ?1.50 in the bank.

Cath Kidston Pearl Daisy Flower Bracelet

If you're looking for something a tad daintier, you might want to opt for this Cath Kidston Pearl Daisy Flower Bracelet (?25.00). Inlaid with lots of tiny pearls, it's deliciously girly without being?too twee. Best of all, there's a wonderful Edwardian-esque vintage look to it - so you can easily fib and tell all your friends that you found it shoved under a pair of tights at a church jumble sale.

Ti Sento Sterling Silver White Pearl Band Ring

Christmas is around the corner, and if you'd like Santa to put something special into your stocking on December 25th, you could do a lot worse than ask him for this Ti Sento Sterling Silver White Pearl Band Ring (?69.95).?It's simple, it's chic, and we'd imagine that it would make a cracking Engagement ring if you're looking to pop the question this Festive season.

  • Six of the Best: Rose Gold jewellery

Rose Gold is very on trend at the moment, and with good reason. Not only does it put people in mind of warm glows and sunkissed Summer days, but it suits practically every skin tone - from pale Celtic complexions to bronzed poolside tans. ?Some of our favourite designers are creating some amazing signature pieces in this metal this season. Here's six of our favourite picks from our collection.

I'm not sure if it's the spikes, the dash of pink or the fact that I just really love big cats, but I am totally head-over-heels for this?Mawi Neon Spiked Panther Ring in Rose Gold (?215.00).?Created in commemoration of Mawi's 10 year anniversary, it manages to combine style with the right amount of 'don't mess with me' toughness. ?The hint of a sparkle comes from the row of Swarovski crystals embedded within it, making it the blingiest and most bad ass accessory in town.

Mawi Neon Spiked Panther Head and Crystal Pendant in Rose Gold

The Mawi Neon Spiked Panther Head and Crystal Pendant in Rose Gold (?243.00) is equally stunning. There's a real Art Deco feel to this piece, giving it the look of something which would be worn by a 1930s Hollywood siren for a night on the tiles. Forget Autumn/Winter, this is a necklace which could be worn during any season - a real statement piece which makes a stylish, colourful impact.

There's something very British about this Alex Monroe Rose Gold Plated Baby Shrimp Necklace (?109.95). Unique, quirky and utterly charming, it comes from the designer's Best of British collection, and was inspired by his memories of his childhood. It's just the thing for a windswept seaside afternoon tea filled with lashings of ginger beer and thick slices of bread and butter.

I'm not sure if it's the hint of Autumn in the air, or the fact that the nights are drawing in, but I'm already planning this year's Halloween outfit (yes, I know it's a bit early). These amazing Wildfox Skeleton Earrings in Rose Gold (?49.95) will definitely be making an appearance. Not only are their grinning faces utterly ghoulish, but each of their bodyparts are also individually articulated, meaning that they wiggle and jive in rhythm with your walk.

Dogeared Triple Karma Ring Necklace in Rose GoldIf you're looking for something slightly less sinister, then this Dogeared Triple Karma Ring Necklace in Rose Gold (?56.95) is full of warmth and good vibes. The three rings symbolise three different types of karma - past, present and future. While wearing this might not help you to win the lottery, it may make you feel slightly more well inclined towards that annoying person sat next to you on the bus.

Dyrberg Kern Cone/B Crystal Tennis Bracelet in Rose Gold

This Dyrberg Kern Cone/B Crystal Tennis Bracelet in Rose Gold (?79.00) is brimming with elegance. It's slim, dainty and set with Swavovski crystals. It's just the thing to wear with a little black dress, and looks brilliant when paired with one of the chunkier bracelets from the same collection.?

  • African Sushi - Fiona Paxton AW12

The AW12 season sees Fiona Paxton take inspiration from African queens and Deco dreams. Hand beaded African patterns are contrasted with sparkling Swarovski crystals and Geometric shapes. With Grace Jones as the muse, her iconic approach to colour and pattern are at the forefront of this collection and can be seen in the use of deep dark colours that are lifted with shots of bright neon stitch and for the first time Fiona Paxton uses glinting coloured diamante stones to give bold structure to her signature fabric necklaces.

Strong use of colour and pattern create a stunning global blend from a jungle land, a mix of sourced patterned cords, leathers and stones are combined with coco shells, Perspex and neon threads to give a wonderful textural blend to this hand-crafted jewellery. Inspiration was taken from African wax prints and embroidered kimonos to produce a shocking mix of colours. Pretty puce gems are contrasted with acid greens on chunky chain collars whilst burnt orange and tropical turquoises add pop to long beaded necklaces and wrapping cuffs.

A nod to the season’s biggest trend, clashing monochrome geometric patterns weave their way through the collection whilst bold laser cut metal pendants add a flash of sharp styling to this ethnic inspired collection.
