  • Spotlight on: Ted Baker

If you follow us on Twitter, you'll know that the Accessories Online team have fallen head over heels in love with the new Ted Baker collection. Playful, stylish and quirky, it's full of unique little pieces that will add a bit of style to any ensemble. Here's five of our favourite picks:

Ted Baker Roqulin Rocking Horse Pendant in Rose Gold

This rose gold Roqulin Rocking Horse pendant (?49.00)?combines simplicity with a certain chicness. It's the kind of necklace which goes with everything from neon bright party dresses, to plain white t-shirts. Pair this with the matching earrings?to complete the look.

Ted Baker Peggie Peg Earrings in Gold

Wearing clothes pegs may not seem like an obvious sartorial choice, yet these Peggie Peg earrings (?39.00)?are utterly adorable. We also imagine that they'd come in handy if you're in urgent need of pegging something to a clothes line, a noticeboard or a person.

Ted Baker Billy Flying Duck Earrings

We've fallen head over heels for these Billy Flying Duck Earrings (?29.00)?- a piece of jewellery which is tailor made for all you budding Hilda Ogden's. While Hilda preferred to stick her ducks on her wall as her 'muriel', we'd wear these (and the matching necklace) with curlers, our best headscarf and a prime piece of salacious gossip.

Ted Baker Brette Narrow Belt Buckle Bangle in Hot Pink

A hot pink buckle belt with add a bit of pep to any outfit, and we can imagine this Brette Narrow Belt Buckle Bangle (?35.00)?becoming one of our favourite accessories to wear when we fancy adding a pop of colour to an ensemble. Pair this with bright pink lipstick and killer heels to turn a simple outfit into something spectacular.

    Ted Baker Zizi Zip Ring

Zippedy-doo-dah! We love the attention to detail on this Zizi Zip Ring (?39.00).?Not only is it a one of a kind design, the zip actually works, making it the perfect thing to fiddle with when you need to stop your hands getting into trouble.

This is only a taster of the various Ted Baker goodies we have on our online store?- there's also stud earrings, pearl necklaces and lots of lovely baubles and bows to drool over.?What are your favourite pieces from the collection? Make sure that you let us know in the comments!

Her ascent was fast, beginning with some stunning catwalk designs which quickly caught the attention of the fashion press. It wasn’t long before her jewellery could be seen in top stores in London, New York City, Paris, Hong Kong and Tokyo. In 1989 she received the first ever British Fashion Council award for ’Accessory Designer of the year’. The distinctiveness of Dinny Hall’s talent lies in an effortless classic modernity which has kept her at the top of her field for over 27 years, still influencing many designers in the jewellery industry today.

  • Summer's Embrace - The Alex Monroe SS12 Collection

'Summer's Embrace', Alex Monroe's new jewellery collection for spring/summer 2012,? has a sleepy, sensual feel with gorgeous curves, folds and textures. Warm flesh tones and rich oranges combine with muted yellows and greens.

Essentially, of course, Alex drew his inspiration from nature, entranced by the soft unfurling of a lily, and the entwined tendrils of a Virginia creeper. But in his collection Alex has also nostalgically paid homage to a very British type of glamour, with a little touch of 'Margot'; referring to the wealthy and glamorous character from 'The Good Life', a favourite from Alex's childhood.

The collection embodies the floating glamour of the seventies, a cocktail party on a warm summer's evening, escaping outside to the garden, a stolen kiss...

Summer's Embrace is pretty and bohemian with an air of sophistication, and a wonderful addition to any Alex Monroe collector's jewellery box.

The collection will be arriving in March at

  • Alex Monroe's New Chrysanthemum Collection

Chrysanthemum is the sumptuously glamorous new collection from Alex Monroe.

Crafting beautiful Chrysanthemum flowers with all of his trademark delicacy and detail, British designer Alex has created a sophisticated collection reminiscent of a bygone era. It's a nostalgic nod back to the 1950’s when women craved glamour and style after the austerity of the Second World War. Alex wanted to inject a little bit of this sentiment into current times!

With Grace Kelly as a source of inspiration, the collection is very lady-like, with a focus on detailed and delicate necklaces, pearl centered stud earrings and elegant bracelets. Shimmering pearls and glittering white topaz form details and centre pieces, nestling in amongst the pompom-like flowers.

Although not a native flower, the Chrysanthemum is a true British classic ? found in almost every bouquet across the land, and here transformed into chic pieces of Alex Monroe jewellery.

The collection arrives shortly, keep checking our Facebook and Twitter feeds for updates.
