  • 'Adornithology' by Jacey Withers

The 'Adornithology'? jewellery collection by Jacey Withers that we previewed from London Fashion Week earlier this year is now online. It always seems like ages between us ordering collections at LFW in February and their arrival with us in the Autumn!

    Large Owl Head Necklace, ?299.95

For Fall 2011, Jacey Withers Jewellery presents ?Adornithology?, an enchanting collection of unique handcrafted pieces heavily inspired by the beautiful white barn owl, one of England’s most captivating birds. Fascinated by this creature, Jacey has created a delightful story surrounding the life of this bird, the mythology and superstition surrounding it as well as its wildlife companions, some even being its prey.

    Owl Earrings, ?112.95

Within the collection of earrings, necklaces, rings and bracelets we discover adorable, inquisitive mice climbing on rings, necklaces and bracelets. Striking owls sit on chains showing the amazing pattern of their wings. These Jacey has cleverly captured with the use of black gold and yellow gold on silver. The soft dreamy hues of feathers are represented by a cunning use of specially sourced rare semi-precious stones including, frost white druzzi crystal, cream facetted jasper, beige hematoid and black lineated tourmaline.

    Mouse on Corn Bracelet, ?139.95

Ornate owl faces have been sculpted coming out of gold discs with ruby red drops that swing on silver and gold chains necklaces. Owl feathers have been considered lucky charms in various different cultures with the bird itself representing the messenger. This triggered Jacey to design the stylised owl feather showpiece bracelet and necklace, two must be seen pieces that complete another successful collection of magical talisman.
