  • Items we love: Karen Millen Crystal Sprinkle Linked Heart Bangle

Karen Millen Crystal Sprinkle Linked Heart BangleWe're total suckers when it comes to pretty bangles (particularly when they're from Karen Millen's collection), and this Crystal Sprinkle Linked Heart Bangle? is the jewellery equivalent of an 80's heartthrob. It's a little bit retro and a little bit kitsch, but - like Christian Slater in Heathers - totally dreamy at the same time. If this were a person, it would totally wear a leather jacket and ask you to hop on the back of its motorbike.

It's also one of the more unique new jewellery arrivals we've received for Spring/Summer 2014. One bangle is in a shiny silver colour, sprinkled with crystals and the other is in a shiny gold. They are linked together as a symbol of love (making it the perfect gift to give to someone you're looking to get it on with.)

OK, so we know that Valentine's Day was over a month ago. But we think that if you're looking to show someone you care this month, you could do a lot worse.

Ted Baker Glitz Super Sparkle Cluster Bracelet in Grape

Glittery and glamorous, this Ted Baker Glitz Super Sparkle Cluster Bracelet in Grape?(?49.00) looks like something which would be worn by Joan from Mad Men. Its clusters of rich purple coloured glass beads have a special coating which allows them to glitter with deep bronze tones. And while it's still?slightly?too early to be thinking about Christmas, we think that this would make a great accessory for any festive party!

Ti Sento Sterling Silver Reversible Cubic Zirconia Crystal Bracelet

If you're looking for something a little bit more understated, then this Ti Sento Sterling Silver Reversible Cubic Zirconia Crystal Bracelet (?70.00)?would perfectly fit the bill.?One side of the crystal has a bezel set cubic zirconia crystal whilst the other side has been set with smaller individual cubic zirconia crystals, allowing it to add a simple touch of sparkle to even the most mundane of outfits.?Wear it with the matching earrings, pendant and ring to complete the look.

Dyrberg/Kern Ice Lumina Swarovski Crystal Bracelet in Shiny Silver

We love the bigness and boldness of Dyrberg/Kern's new Autumn/Winter collection, and this Ice Lumina Swarovski Crystal Bracelet in Shiny Silver (?69.00) is no exception. Comprising a great gobstopper of?Swarovski ELEMENTS crystals in mixed shapes and sizes on a?hand knotted macrame bracelet, it is full of unashamedly brash brilliance.

    Karen Millen Druzy Crystal Bangle

We love the unique shape of this?Karen Millen Druzy Crystal Bangle (?65.00),?as well as the pattern of the crystals it's dotted with. While it may not be as ostentatious as some of the other bracelets we've featured here, it's simplicity may be what makes it one of our favourites. It's the perfect thing to team with a little black dress for some understated glamour.

Dogeared Sterling Silver Medium Sparkle Karma Bracelet on Tobacco Linen

While this?Dogeared Sterling Silver Medium Sparkle Karma Bracelet on Tobacco Linen (?44.95)?may not be as sparkly as the other bracelets here, we quite like its dull silvery shimmer. It also has a lovely?textured, sparkly karma circle charm - a gloriously pretty reminder to stay positive, peaceful and loving. (Which isn't the easiest thing to do sometimes!)

  • Buying earrings? We now accept returns on pierced jewellery.

Good news if you're buying earrings - we can now accept returns on all pierced jewellery.

It was a bit awkward before, as due to hygiene reasons we weren't able to accept returns on earrings. So to get around this we came up with a simple solution: all earrings are now sent out in clear sealed bags. If you don't break the seal on the bag then it's fine to send them back if they're not suitable for you. As they're in a clear bag you can still hold them up against your ear to see if you like them.

So now you can treat yourself to some beautiful earrings without worrying about returning them if they're not quite right for you. Here are some of our favourite earrings at the moment to inspire you:

House of Harlow Tiered Coin Earrings, ?119.95

These House of Harlow earrings are perfect for a summery, boho look.

Cath Kidston Crystal Bow and Pearl Drop Earrings, ?18
