  • Statement Necklaces for the Festive Season

Now that the Christmas shopping is nearly finished, our thoughts turn to what we will be wearing at this year's Christmas party.

The perfect accessory to give you little black dress the essential dose of festive glamour and sophistication is the statement necklace. Here are some of our top picks from our collection.

Butler and Wilson create the creme de la creme of statement necklaces, and this mirrored treasure does not disappoint. No other accessories required with this one, the necklace does all the work.

  • Oh the Weather Outside is Frightful...

Jam packed high streets, crowded shops, freezing weather. All the reasons why I like to get my Christmas shopping done by the end of November. Plus, running an online jewellery company keeps me kind of busy in December. Online shopping is definitely the way to go - I've done the majority of my shopping this way for a number of years.? What can beat shopping from the comfort and warmth of your own home, armed with a glass of mulled wine and a plate full of mince pies? Not much, especially in this kind of weather.

    Christmas Shopping Online

I believe that Christmas shopping should be enjoyable. This is where buying online has the advantage. I find it really hard to maintain that 'festive spirit' when you're carrying heavy bags and battling through hoards of shoppers. Am I alone in this? Probably not.

If you're shopping online then I think it's really important that delivery is free and fast. I placed an order with a well known online retailer last week and paid ?5.95 for 'standard' delivery to the UK. Six days later and it still hasn't been despatched. I'm pleased to say you'll find none of that here.? This week has been our busiest to date since we started trading back in 2004. but we're still managing to despatch 99.9% of all orders on the same day. It's our aim to maintain this level of service through the busy Christmas period. We've built up a good reputation for our speed of delivery and we won't be letting it slip. This year we introduced free UK delivery which has been really popular with our customers - after all, it was our customers who asked for it. We now have a free returns service too, so our UK customers don't have to pay a penny to send things back to us.

To make things a bit easier we've also set up a? Christmas gift guide. The guide has been broken down into categories, with each category containing some of our best selling and most gifted items.? You can also use the little widgety thing on the left of the page to sort by price and designer if you'd like to. Another thing we've done to try and keep things easy and enjoyable for you.

So stay inside, stay warm and shop online!
